A competitive dance team for dedicated dancers who want strong technical training, performance growth, and the opportunity to compete in a positive, disciplined, and supportive environment.
Dancers ages 5–18 with at least one year of prior dance experience are welcome to audition.

Boot Camp
August 3–7, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, $275, mandatory for all team members

Team Expectations
• Compete at the Elite level, which requires a high level of commitment and consistent technical progression
• Attend a minimum of two competitions and one convention each season
• Dancers are strongly encouraged to take as many classes as possible to support accelerated growth and Elite-level expectations
• Dancers must own a Fox Dance Academy team jacket
• Dancers must have all-black and black/hot pink dance attire for outside events
Required Team Performances
(When dances are selected)• Lights On Bryan
• Bryan Lighted Parade
• George Bush Library performances
• Nursing home performances in the spring
Highly Suggested Opportunities
• Enrolling in unlimited classes, especially Stretch, Acro, and Leaps/Turns
• Participation in intensives and master classes
• Traveling to additional conventions
Additional Costs
Families should also plan for the following season expenses:
Costumes per routine
Competition and convention entry fees
Travel and lodging expenses for out-of-town events

Auditioning dancers will be evaluated on technique, performance presence, and overall potential.

Audition Times
(Based on dancer’s age as of December 31, 2026)• Ages 5–7: 5:00–5:45 PM
• Ages 8–10: 6:00–6:45 PM
• Ages 11–13: 7:00–7:45 PM
• Ages 14–19: 8:00–8:45 PM
What to Wear
• All-black dance attire
• Hair pulled out of the face and off the neck
• Jazz shoes or turners only
• Light makeup suggested for older dancers
Registration Required
All auditioning dancers must register in the Parent Portal or Fox Dance Academy App prior to auditions.
Additional details and audition information will be emailed closer to the audition date to families who are registered.
