Combo Kits & Cubs
Best for younger dancers beginning movement, rhythm, and combo-based training. Typically ages 2–7*
Level A
Ages 7+ or by invitation. A strong starting point for individual styles and foundational technique. Typically ages 7–11*
Level B & C
For dancers building intermediate to advanced technique, artistry, and performance skills. Typically ages 12–18*

Combo Kits & Cubs
Our youngest dancers build confidence, coordination, musicality, and classroom skills through age-appropriate movement and combo classes.
At Fox Dance Academy, we maintain small class sizes to ensure quality instruction. Classes require a minimum of 4 students to run and are considered full at 10. Once a class reaches 8 students, we’ll open an additional section if needed, and an assistant will be added to support the lead instructor and enhance the learning experience.


Mini Movers & Me
Designed for our youngest dancers and their caregivers, this class focuses on foundational movement skills through playful, guided activities. Dancers work on balance, coordination, body awareness, and fine and gross motor dexterity while building confidence and comfort in a structured dance environment. Caregiver participation supports engagement, safety, and early movement development.
Creative Movement
For ages 2–3, this playful class introduces little ones to the joy of dance through imaginative games, music, and movement exploration. Dancers build coordination, balance, and confidence, all while having fun!
Combo Kits
For ages 3–5, this high-energy combo class blends ballet technique with lively tap rhythms. Kids grow in grace, coordination, and musicality through structured training, games, and creative movement.
Combo Cubs
For ages 5–7, Combo Cubs challenges dancers with a dynamic mix of ballet, jazz, and tap. Through technique, rhythm drills, and exciting dance games, students build confidence and well-rounded skills.
Required Shoes: Jazz shoes and tap shoes
Pre-Acro
These beginner classes focus on body awareness, balance, and basic tumbling to build coordination and confidence in young dancers.
Level A
Level A is designed for dancers beginning individual styles or building a strong technical foundation. Placement is generally age 7+ or by invitation.
At Fox Dance Academy, we maintain small class sizes to ensure quality instruction. Classes require a minimum of 4 students to run and are considered full at 12. Once a class reaches 10 students, we’ll open an additional section if needed.

Ballet A
This class builds essential technique with an emphasis on alignment, flexibility, and strength. Dancers work on barre and center combinations with growing complexity and are expected to demonstrate control and focus.
Contemporary A
This level introduces foundational contemporary technique, exploring floor work, breath-driven movement, and expressive combinations.
Tap A
This level introduces essential tap vocabulary, rhythm patterns, and musical timing. Dancers develop coordination and confidence through engaging drills and upbeat choreography.
Jazz A
This class introduces and builds upon fundamental jazz technique, emphasizing strength, coordination, and musical expression. Dancers will explore various jazz styles in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Musical Theater A
Designed for developing performers, this class introduces basic jazz movement, acting, and musicality through fun theatrical routines.
Acro A
This level builds a solid foundation in dance acro technique. Dancers work on bridges, rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and begin progressions for walkovers and aerial drills.
Level B & C
Level B & C classes are designed for dancers developing intermediate to advanced technique, stronger performance quality, and greater stylistic range.
At Fox Dance Academy, we maintain small class sizes to ensure quality instruction. Classes require a minimum of 4 students to run and are considered full at 15 for the advanced dance classes. More classes may be requested if 4 or more dancers place a commitment.
Ballet B
This level focuses on expanding vocabulary, refining execution, and developing fluidity and precision. Dancers are challenged with more intricate combinations and performance quality.
Ballet C
Our highest ballet level emphasizes advanced technique, expression, and performance readiness. Dancers work on complex sequences, turns, and leaps with strong technical demands.
Jazz B
This level challenges dancers with more advanced jazz technique, faster-paced choreography, and detailed performance quality. Emphasis is placed on versatility, precision, and expressive movement.
Jazz C
Designed for experienced dancers, this advanced jazz class emphasizes refined technique, complex choreography, and detailed performance execution with attention to musicality, clarity, and control.
Musical Theater B
Tailored for more experienced dancers, this class builds on jazz technique while integrating acting and staging for more complex musical numbers.
Tap B
Designed for more experienced tappers, this class focuses on speed, precision, and complex rhythms. Dancers refine their technique through challenging footwork and stylized performance routines.
Acro B
For dancers with strong fundamentals, this class advances into more complex skills like back and front walkovers, aerials, handsprings, and flips. Emphasis is placed on power, control, and fluid choreography integration.
Acro C
For dancers with a solid technical foundation, this advanced acro class focuses on higher-level skills such as front and back walkovers, aerials, handsprings, and flips. Emphasis is placed on strength, control, safe progressions, and seamless integration of acro skills into choreography.
Contemporary B
Dancers in this level dive deeper into dynamic phrasing, weight shifts, and performance quality with challenging choreography and improvisation tools.
Contemporary C
Dancers in this level build on dynamic phrasing, weight shifts, and performance quality while working through more challenging choreography and guided improvisation.


Specialty & Supplemental Classes
Some classes are placement-based, support-focused, or program-specific and may not fit neatly into a single level grouping.

Pre-Pointe
For dancers building strength and technique in preparation for pointe work. This class focuses on foot and ankle conditioning, alignment, and proper mechanics, all done on flat.
Concurrent enrollment in Ballet B is strongly advised.
Pointe
For dancers approved to train en pointe. This class enhances strength, control, and grace in pointe shoes through targeted barre and center work.
Concurrent enrollment in Ballet C or B/C is strongly advised.
Leaps & Turns
This technique-focused class breaks down proper mechanics for jumps, leaps, and pirouettes. Dancers work on alignment, control, and power while progressing through combinations that challenge balance and coordination.
Pint-Sized Poms
A fun and energetic class for younger dancers, introducing basic pom motions, rhythm, and teamwork. Dancers learn age-appropriate routines that build confidence and spirit!
Urban Pom
Fox Dance Academy’s Pom classes are high-energy and performance-focused, combining elements of jazz and cheer dance. Dancers build strength, precision, and sharpness in their movements while working on synchronized routines, jumps, and formations. This program is perfect for dancers interested in future drill team, cheer, or school dance team opportunities.
Stretch & Kicks
A conditioning class that targets flexibility, core strength, and high leg extensions. Dancers improve control, body lines, and endurance through focused stretching, kicks, and dynamic movement drills.
Voice & Presence
This class focuses on singing, character work, and stage presence for performers developing the non-dance elements of musical theatre. Students build confidence in vocal performance, storytelling, and expressive stage work.

In addition to level placement, Fox Dance Academy offers a variety of class styles designed to help dancers grow in technique, confidence, artistry, and performance. From foundational training to expressive movement and specialized skills, each style offers something unique for every dancer.
Ballet
Ballet builds technique, alignment, strength, flexibility, and control. It creates a strong foundation for many other dance styles while helping dancers develop grace, discipline, and confidence.
Tap
Tap develops rhythm, timing, coordination, and musicality through percussive footwork. Dancers build confidence and precision while learning to create sound and style with every step.
Contemporary
Contemporary encourages dancers to explore expressive movement, musical interpretation, breath, floor work, and dynamic phrasing. It helps dancers connect technique with artistry and emotion.
Jazz
Jazz is a high-energy style that focuses on strength, musicality, coordination, and performance quality. Dancers explore expressive movement and a variety of jazz styles in a fun, challenging environment.
Musical Theater
Musical Theater combines dance, character work, storytelling, and performance energy inspired by the stage. It gives dancers the chance to develop expression, confidence, and theatrical presence.
Pom
Pom is a sharp, high-energy style that blends elements of jazz and cheer dance. Dancers build strength, precision, and performance quality through synchronized movement, jumps, and spirited routines.
Acro
Acro blends dance technique with flexibility, balance, strength, and tumbling skills. Dancers progress through safe, structured skills while learning to integrate acro smoothly into choreography.
