Zack Wright is the quiet force that keeps Fox Dance Academy running smoothly, and the inspiration behind its name. Named in his honor by his wife, the studio reflects his middle name, Fox, a symbol of the creativity, strength, and support he brings to everything he does.

Zack is the academy’s tech guru, master of all things digital and mechanical, and the one everyone turns to when something needs fixing. He’s also a full-time paramedic, devoted husband to the studio’s owner, hands-on prop master, and wrangler of the ever-energetic Wright children.

From late-night builds to last minute music cuts, Zack’s presence is felt in every corner of the Den. Without him, the show wouldn’t go on—and definitely wouldn’t go as smoothly.

I am also a Delta Zeta. I’ve been passionate about dance my whole life—I trained at  Marsha Woody Academy of Dance for 15 years and with Beaumont Civic Ballet for 8 years. I am trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, tap, and jazz! Ballet and pointe are my favorite! One of my favorite traditions was dancing in The Nutcracker each year, which I was a part of for 8 seasons. I also had the amazing opportunity to audition and attend prestigious summer ballet intensives with Joffrey Ballet and Ballet Austin. In high school, I served as a lieutenant of my drill team junior year and captain during my senior year!

Karis has appeared in a number of productions including classics like Peter and the Wolf, The Nutcracker, and Carnival of the Animals, and original productions of Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan. In high school, she continued her dance journey as a member of Vandegrift High School’s Legacies Dance Team, serving as both Junior Lieutenant and First Lieutenant.

During her time as a Rangerette, she had many exciting performance opportunities, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (where she performed with Mariah Carey during the finale), the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii, the Cotton Bowl, and more. While at Kilgore College, she was also a member of Industry Dance Company, the dance department’s pre-professional dance company.

Now a senior at Texas A&M University, Emma continues her passion for dance as a staff member of Ascension Dance Company. She is also the co-founder of 512 Choreography, a company based in Austin that creates original routines for teams and individual dancers. After graduation, Emma hopes to become a high school drill team director and inspire the next generation of dancers through movement, leadership, and creativity.

She's been a dance teacher and choreographer for over a decade, and is honored to be a choreographer for the Brazos River Youth Theatre. Her ongoing role as an educator at Kindermusik of College Station - Bryan has allowed her to pursue her passion for working at the intersection of early childhood and music since 2019, and she is excited to be able to take that work further by developing the Mommy & Me program at Fox Dance Academy. When not onstage or in studio, Jessica can be found in her garden trying to convince her children that pulling weeds out of the flower beds is fun, actually.

Coming to you from Wilmington, North Carolina, PJ has been performing since she could walk. Her love of the stage led her to Texas Christian University, where she studied Communication Science and Musical Theatre, with a primary focus in Theatre Education. PJ danced competitively throughout high school and has extensive training in tap, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary. She has also spent several summers in New York training under Broadway professionals such as Derek Klena, Lindsay Mendez, Thayne Jasperson, Kristin Chenoweth, Clay Rice, and more!
In the studio, PJ’s main goal is for every student to develop a love for creative movement—and to walk away knowing they are loved. Outside of teaching, you can find her whipping up drinks at Dutch Bros, taking a Pilates class, or running the Foxy socials!
